RECIPE: Grilled brussels sprouts was veggies & kids

Jenni - I'm saving this for when I have kids (if I get pregnant

anyway! Think good thoughts if you have time)... :-)

 

As for the brussels sprouts, DH loves them. I like them ok,

definitely depends how they're cooked. My favorite way:

 

Wash the sprouts and remove the outermost leaves. Quarter them,

leaving a bit of the stem on each so they remain intact. Mist with

olive oil and grill (it's very quick). Drizzle with hazelnut or

walnut oil, and top with chopped toasted hazelnuts or pecans and

sprinkle a bit of flaky kosher salt. Just yummy!!

I always have time for thinking happy thoughts! =) so consider

yourself thought of! =)

 

that actually sounds yummy.. I do that with Asparagus (another ALL

TIME FAVORITE of mine... as long as my mom isn't the one who cooked it!

) I am looking forward to trying these! Thanks Amy! =)

 

 

I will be buying some when we get back in town..

we are heading for dc tomorrow morning.. apt hunting.. it will be 3

days of checking out areas, looking for a place that we will like

living in.. crazy!

 

We only move to NYC in August.. now DC in June! UGH! I think i need

happy thoughts too! (or soothing, non stressful thoughts!)
