Guest guest
Here's a very helpful cookbook also: " The New Whole Foods Encyclopedia " by Rebecca Wood. This book is jammed with important info from A to Z on preparation and storage of over 1,000 common and uncommon fruits, vegetables, grains & herbs. Have them joint the group and read thru the wonderful recipe files or print them a few recipes to try, there's enough good food in there (tons of vegan) to keep them busy and full for months on end............Hope I've been of some help to you, Donna equimom7549 <dobier wrote: Hi everyone. I've been lurking on this list for over a year but haven't posted before. I have been lacto-ova veg for about two years now and have enjoyed the recipes and chatter. I need some help for my daughter and her boyfriend. They have bravely gone directly to vegan 3 weeks ago. My daughter has never cooked before and would appreciate your reccomendations of good, simple vegan cookbooks. She says everything she looks at seems to be complicated and have tons of expensive, strange ingredients. We'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks, Debra
