We always have French Toast with Challah, of course! It also makes

nice bread pudding. I just would like to be able to make a single

loaf, the thought of finding a place for three loaves is daunting to

me...I'm easily strung out!!

Add a little cardamom and you have me sold.... :-)

 

There was a restaurant back in SC that for one holiday (Mother's Day,

I think) made a special French toast with brioche (similar to

challah) and they had whipped cream cheese and macerated strawberries

inside. Oh it was good.....

If you're using it for the French toast and bread pudding, it freezes

well double wrapped. Not as good for plain eating though.
