Guest guest
Yes, we make our own hot chocolate mix all the time. My kids really prefer it to the stuff you buy in the store. It is made from powdered items so it keeps just as long as regular hot chocolate mixes. i have shared the recipe i use here before so it should be in our files under 'Master Mixes'. Here is a repost of the recipe: Hot Cocoa Mix 6 & 2/3 cups nonfat dry milk powder 1 cup instant chocolate drink mix 1 package ( 5 oz) cook-and-serve chocolate pudding mix 1/2 cup confectioners sugar 1/2 cup powdered non-dairy creamer 1/2 cup baking cocoa ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS: 1 cup boiling water In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place for up to 3 months. Yield: 21 cups of cocoa ( about 7 cups of mix total) To Prepare Hot Cocoa: Dissolve 1/3 cup cocoa mix in boiling water. ~ pt ~ , " melissa_hopp " <hoppmel@c...> wrote: > > The Chai discussion made me think of hot chocolate.
