Guest guest
Hi Chanda, It's a small berry in the cranberry family that grows in Scandinavia. Being a Swede I grew up on lingonberry jam (little tart but delicious) and also lingonberry syrup for my pancakes and I put the jam in center of my aebleskivers (little pancake balls with jam in center and then you dust them with powdered sugar).........Got that? Yaw Yaw..........Donna Chanda/Maria <puterwitch wrote: ok this may sound weird but, what is lingonberry? - GeminiDragon Monday, March 28, 2005 7:43 PM Re: Re: Hi Mel.......Cost Plus and I love that place too, I find lingonberry preserves there and imported baking oils too.........Donna melissa_hopp <hoppmel wrote: Denise...I love going to Cost Plus - I get marmite there (we had quite a discussion on that topic a while back) and lots of other international things - they have good prices on teas and coffees, too & fun toys for kids and adults! m

Guest guest
Hey Jenni, I will try hard to find one for you. The man that owns the aebleskiver shop in Solvang drives down here every Saturday to make them at the fresh vegetable market in Torrance..I run down the street and buy them sometimes. I make my own but it's nice to have his also now and then..........OK off to look for your recipe now...............D Jenni Billings <jenni wrote:Hey Donna... do you happen to have a vegan aebleskiver recipe?? we used to get aebleskivers in Solvang!!! yummmmm =) jenni On Monday, March 28, 2005, at 09:03 PM, GeminiDragon wrote: > Hi Chanda, > It's a small berry in the cranberry family that grows in Scandinavia. > Being a Swede I grew up on lingonberry jam (little tart but delicious) > and also lingonberry syrup for my pancakes and I put the jam in center > of my aebleskivers (little pancake balls with jam in center and then > you dust them with powdered sugar).........Got that?
