Guest guest
Yes, I did over and over many times. The look on her face was always a smile and you could see the unspoken words.I told you so but she never said that. I was a stubborn strong willed child and teenager as well. My Mother would take care of everyones problems and feed the world if she could. Now it's her turn to be waited on. I don't always make her food just the way she likes it or she has lost something that she's sure I moved.....LOL Have a wonderful Day.............Donna Pamela M Luton <pmluton wrote: Your email was beautiful as well. Your Mother sounds like a wonderful person. One question - did you ever tell your Mom she was right? I did one time. We were out to dinner and we got talking about things and I admited to her that she was right about just about everything she ever told me. The look on her face was awesome. I that may secretly be the one of the things that would make a Mother the happiest to have their children tell them they were right. Your are absolutely correct, everyone should have mothers like we do. On Sun, 27 Mar 2005 07:33:18 -0800 (PST) GeminiDragon <thelilacflower writes: Those are beautiful emails. Growing up my Mother was a Mom and Dad to me. She was a very strong woman that worked 2 jobs to raised the 2 of us. She was on the strict side but for good reason and I didn't always agree with her at times but looking back, she was right. Now she's 81 yrs old and frail with failing health and I now cook her dinners from her old favorite recipes and a few I have sent to the group here, and I now have to make sure she takes her medicine and puts a sweater on. I wish everyone had Mothers like ours...........
