It's just like buying Rice A Roni when you use those package couscous mixes.LOL

Better to make your own and season it up. It's really a wonderful treat as a

side dish, and you can add all the onions you like....Donna

from scratch. I will give it a shot before I give up on it, thanks,

Hi Shawn,

Couscous is bland with a wonderful chewy texture. Add all the spices you

desire and some garlic too. I only buy the plain. I don't care for the

flavored mixes. You will enjoy a good dish. You could also add a can of the

diced Ortega chiles....Donna

Hiya Donna! I got the ingredients for this recipe yesterday. I

bought a box of Parmesan Couscous (they also had pine nut flavored and

something else). Got home opened er up and saw bugs - returned it and

got a " glass jar " container of " plain " couscous. Question - do you

suggest adding any spices or herbs or leave it as is (the couscous

that is)? I'm putting in all of the " optional " ingredients and

probably garlic too. Any suggestions? Thanks (and thanks again for

the recipe). :)
