My mother's mac and cheese

My mother made a mac and cheese that my father adored.

I was a kid; I didn;'t know there was any other mac

and cheese.

 

 

In a dutch oven type pan, she baked a mixture of

(already boiled) elbow pasta, grated chedar cheese,

and a can of tomato paste. She cooked it until the

top edge was darkened and crispy.

 

" The cat did not respond. She did not believe in paraphrasing anybody. If

people pursued this same feline wisdom, there'd be a lot fewer

misunderstandings. "

yeah goes great with tomato, I always make stewed tomatoes with it :o)
