Hi Shawn,

The box of couscous I have is from Trader Joe's. Whole Foods sells it in the

bulk area. It actually steams and doesn't require boiling. Once it hits the

boiling water all you have to do is turn the fire off, cover pan and it's done

in 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork. They usually sell it boxed in the area

where middle eastern or international food items are sold in the markets. It's

very inexpensive to get it without the seasoned packets like the Near East brand

or whatever that company is called.

This recipe is one of my sisters and I thought it would be something you'd want

to try soon. Her husband is from Merida, Yucatan so they add habenero chilis.

I make mine with cumin and tomatoes ...LOL Enjoy soon, Donna

Donna this sounds wonderful - Thank You! I've never made anything

with couscous before. It's a grain correct - do they usually have

that at salad bars (I think I'm picturing it correctly)? Now I'm

hungry.

Shawn :)
