Guest guest
If it were me I'd add to your pizza topping list bell peppers. Particularly roasted red peppers (which are my favorite fruit/veg on the planet, followed closely by any kind of potato and corn). And since you're not vegan, I'd go for a variety of cheeses, too, if you're making several different kinds of pizza (mmm....spinach and feta....) My husband and I (he's not veggie but doesn't eat beef or pork) have a New Year's party every year and he might make meat but all the dips and side dishes and things are veggie. Our friends know if they want meat to bring it themselves (someone brought a ham this year!) Happy birthday, and have fun and don't stress about the party! Guest guest
Good ideas, thanks. I'm not a big fan of cooked bell peppers. In a salad or sandwich is another story. They are fruit, by the way. :^) Sometimes I like a corn crust, but this man is a pro at making yummy wheat pizzas! I will suggest different cheeses... and different combinations. Do any of us live in eastern Iowa!?? Sarah White <breadbakingwoman wrote: If it were me I'd add to your pizza topping list bell peppers. Guest guest
I live in SW Iowa on the Audubon/Carroll/Guthrie counties line. I've been wanting to take a trip out to Iowa City. I've heard of a great vegetarian restaurant called the Red Avocado. Have you been there? Where are you in eastern Iowa? Denise , Jiraph Wirpel <wirpel> wrote: > Good ideas, thanks.
