Guest guest
Well, I made two loaves of bread yesterday, but didn't get around to the beans, yet. The first loaf we tasted and it was pretty good, although I don't think it got kneaded enough as it didn't rise that well. But, it had poppy and sesame seeds in it as well as some honey and a mixture of organic unbleached white and whole wheat flours. This one I let the machine mix up and then I took it out to rise in the loaf pan. The second loaf had a mixture of white, wheat, rye flours and corn meal, along with some more poppy and sesame seeds. This one I did completely in the bread machine. We haven't taste tested this one, yet, but it looked okay. I remember another reason why I don't like to bake the bread in the machine....the stirer gets baked right into the bread and you have to dig it out. Hmmmm, maybe I'll go back to using my Kitchen Aid mixer, that's how I make my pizza dough. Next loaf I try I do want to add some herbs. I'm very new at this, but I've been told to just hang in there and soon I won't have any problems making bread. Thanks for your ideas on the pintos. I'll get around to them one of these days, soon. cheers, Denise , " matrixenos " <matrixenos@h...> wrote: > > I'm going to try baking bread again.
