Super Bowl - Paul McCartney, a Vegan

HI Ragnnhild ~

the concert we went to was amazing (he's my hero, too, I'm right with

you on that one!)

The slides we saw were lots of animals.. live, happy, wonderful

pictures.. then there were also the yucky factory farm type ones..

crowded, sad, pictures... I think the love showed through so much that

the disgust at the treatment animals receive was an obvious and

impossible to ignore conclusion (at least to me, and hopefully

others!!) Prior to going veg I had never been a huge meat eater...

Sure I ate it, but I'd happily have the non meat meals too... It was

awesome to come home from that concert and see how much it moved my

hubby... People always assume that I *made* him go veg, when it was his

idea in the first place...

I have always wondered how many others have been moved to make a life

change like that from something as common place as a rock concert..

I've always wanted to go to Norway... I hope you don't mind me asking..

are you vegan or ovo lacto veg? Are there favorite veg foods you

specific to your area??

My husband, David, went to Norway with in the first year we were veg,

and he said he ended up eating a lot of omelets and french fries...

That was about 10 years ago, and he only stayed a week... plus I am

sure most of his meals were eaten at bars and stuff... he was in Oslo.

He did bring back the best beer I ever tasted... I don't remember what

it was , but it was a good Norwegian beer! =) He absolutely loved

Norway.. said it was striking and promised to bring me back someday....

=)
