I really want to make a vegan cheese cake but i haven't tried yet. Guest guest Posted February 3, 2005 Report Share Posted February 3, 2005 Hi, I really like sharing recipes, especially with people who can appreciate vegetarian/vegan tastes but I just realized that in the rough recipe I gave you, the green beans weren't caramelized! but I think its ok, cause you dont have to do that, or you can caramelize the tofu instead Ill keep an eye open for good tofu recipes oh, I just remembered one for sorbet its something like 3/4 cups of mori nu silken tofu, soft 1/2 cub frozen cranberries, and Im not sure, but maybe the same amount of apple which your puree and it has to be just a tad sweeter than you want it to be, because cold stuff always tastes less sweet than when its at room temperature yes, so you freeze it , and then when you want to eat it you take it out and food process/blend it for a bit untill its broken up but not slushy tofu also makes for good pudding, I think you can buy a special mix at health food stores (my mom has a health food store, so I know of lots of good alternative stuff) sorry if my directions are too vague, its just off the top of my head -V shy_vegan <hutson90 wrote: Veronica, thanks for replying.
