Guest guest
Maybe y'all remember when I was agonizing over a job interview/lunch, and I'd been advised to eat chicken or fish, neither of which I even touch. Well, my wife echoed comments I received here: " Suppose you order chicken and you get this job. What is your reward then? A year of worrying about your lunch and not eating it? Several years of it? You might as well eat what you want now and see whether you're compatible with the company. " Well, my boss-to-be ordered a fancy-schmancy grilled cheese sandwich and tomato bisque! " Oh, that seems so nice for a cold day like this, " I said, and ordered the same, only with minestrone to send an " I am not a suck-up who will just do whatever you do " message. And we ate about half our meals each because the conversation was actually *fun*! AND, there is one more interview, and I hope it's the final! Thanks to everyone for your support! I will probably return to lurk-mode, but I definitely appreciate you all for moments like this, and I love the recipes. I'll close with a bit of hard-learned advice--Boca crumbles are good for some things, but make craptacular stuffed peppers. You're better off sticking with rice and vegetables, like I normally do.
