Ohhhh a lady at work has a opossum she rasied as an orphan. Found him by his

Mom that was hit by a car. He's a great lttle pet. She has a big ranch style

home 45 minutes out of Los Angeles and takes in all stray pets she has found.

She has a hawk, giant turtle and a bunch of dogs, cats, and even a goat and

pig..............Donna.

Hi,

It's pretty funny that they are still illegal ( I

think ) but all the stores here like Petsmart and PetCo

have specific ferret supplies - food, little beds, cages,

etc. ! I have seen them in pet shops in Arizona, but they

are a little too quick for me, and my dogs might chase

them. But we have raised unreleaseable opossums in the

past ( also illegal as pets ). They are sweet little guys,

but require careful feeding to be healthy. If I had the

oportunity to raise them again, I would ( they got along

with the cats and dogs ). I have a link to an opossum

group on my profile - sorry, I know it's off-topic !

I'll post on food tomorrow !

exotic pets so maybe it's not an enforced law for some reason.
