Guest guest
That is very funny ! I guess it's personal tastes ! I tried some veggie tuna at a friend's house the other night. Only one person liked it, he said with mayonnaise, like tuna salad. I thought it was rubbery and the smell was kind of icky. Someone mentioned seitan. I've never tried it or seen it for sale here. Is it good ? Tina , GeminiDragon <thelilacflower> wrote: > Isn't that funny how we all have different tastes? I have a hard time with the tempeh, for some reason I have to chew fast and swallow it. I bread and bake tofu in the oven, grill it marinated on my George Foreman grill, mash it up with mayo and onions and make mock eggless egg salad sandwiches, stir fry it or just eat it plain along with my dinner..........Donna > > Tina LeBouthillier <tinal999@h...> wrote: > Hi, > > I have never been able to stand tofu, no matter > how it's cooked ( or disguised ). Guest guest
I eat every vegetable I've ever seen and the same with beans and grains and I'm not picky at all but the seitan is too much like tempeh for me. Don't care for either one. I'll bet you would love it. I see it at Whole Foods all the time but it's not as popular as tofu on the shelves. Do you have a Whole Foods or Wild Oats in your area?.Donna Tina LeBouthillier <tinal999 wrote: That is very funny ! I guess it's personal tastes !
