Guest guest
All your subs are still soy based. As a vegan for 7 years now, experience has taught me not to rely on soy for my protein. I hardly use it at all anymore. You might try instead, some Seitan, shredded up. The texture is quite close to chicken meat. You might also try and locate a product called Quorn, which is myco protein, meaning its made from fungus or shroomy like organisms. Note tho that Quorn is made using egg whites as a binder. It comes in ground meat form, nuggets, patties etc. At 05:14 AM 1/18/2005, you wrote: >A couple suggestions...you can do different versions of pilgrim or >shepherds pie. A proper american child is fed chemicals made by a gargantuan multinational corporation and gets to sleep alone in a crib looking at toys so it can become a consumer to be marketed to as quickly as possible. Guest guest
Why don't you use soy as a protein substitute? Just curious since I don't know a whole lot about this and have always heard soy was a good protein sub. All opinions are welcome.
