Guest guest
Hi Veronica. i love those canned peas, too! *lol* i could probably just open a can and eat them without even heating 'em up! Now as far as canned potatoes goes, i sort of like them, too. i haven't bought any before because as you pointed out, buying fresh is likely cheaper most of the time. But i do like the way they are all trimmed and round and sort of cute. Remember the school lunches? i think that was the last time i had canned potatoes, warmed up with a bit of parsley and butter on them. Good point! Why do people buy canned potatoes. It's probably just as cheap (if not cheaper) to buy fresh, and in general canned veggies aren't as tasty. I love canned peas though. They taste nothing like real peas but they're good in their own, weird way. Veronica
Guest guest
I love canned peas! LOL, and my 7 year old daughter loves them but only the way I make them. I use some olive oil or butter or both, and a little bit of garlic powder and black pepper and a bit of salt. Blessings, Chanda/Maria - ~ PT ~ Friday, January 14, 2005 10:48 AM hehehe canned peas!
