Guest guest
Hi, I was thinking of what to make for Xmas lunch and wondered if anyone has links to or ideas for a nice vegetarian Xmas lunch. Since I am in Australia, it may be hot so I was thinking along the lines of some entrees like small crackers with some fancy Avocado or other topping, some home made soup and garlic bread, a baked festive loaf of some type (something really nice such as a backed nut/lentil loaf?) and salads eg home made potato salad with diced green apples (Granny Smiths) and walnuts, coleslaw and a nice green salad with some semi-sundried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes and whatever, and some small plum puddings (no lard etc in them) with some brandy butter or such and nice coffee. Anyone have any ideas on low cost Xmas menus, easy to make and tasty and not too fattening? M.
