Guest guest
Today I made soup. It tastes even more yummy than my kitchen smells. I wish I could share bowls of it with everyone. Here's the closest I can come to being able to do that: Lentil Vegetable Soup 1½ cups washed lentils 1½ quarts vegetarian vegetable stock 2 chopped stalks celery (w/ tops) 1 sliced onion several sliced carrots 1½ cups cut tomato 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1 Tbsp. celery seed ½ tsp. celery salt ½ tsp. tarragon Place lentils in stock. Cover. Simmer until almost tender. Add: celery, celery seed, onion, carrots, tomato, vegetable oil, lemon juice and tarragon. Cover. Using tenderness as your gage, simmer about 15 minutes longer than when carrots are done.
