Well, as someone has responded, it has to be 'news'

and such abuse is kinda taken for granted. 'News' is

if someone tries to expose the abuse, to protest the

abuse, to stop the abuse. (And then the news becomes

about stopping the protestors, of course, thus

distracting from the real story of animal abuse.) I am

not maligning journalists here - they have a job to do

and they do it. Wrong kinds of stories just don't get

published and too many unpublishable stories means no

rent money. Some brave ones file them anyway.

 

There are also books written on the subject, not just

newspaper articles that are later used to wrap the

garbage.

 

And as a postscript, you will know about the FARM

movement of course.

I remember when I was first put on Premarin, andthen I learned of the horse

abuse that was going on. I entered an AOL chat room for horses to ask the

people, since they were horse lovers if they had heard of the abuse etc. I was

shocked at the nasty reception I got. The general consensus was that I should

shut the hell up and go somewhere else.

I was shocked.
