Guest guest
I figured since everyone else is chiming in and introducing themselves, I would jump on the bandwagon. I'm a REALLY new lacto-ovo vegetarian from Kansas City, Missouri, just starting over a week and half ago. I really debated going veggie a few years ago, but at that time I was too young to do my own shopping and my Mother refused to help me change my eating habits. But I'm a little older now, and can afford to shop for myself (although cooking for myself is a whole 'nother story!), so I figured it was time to become healthier. I've always had a hard time digesting meat, I ate it so infrequently anyway that it almost always upset my system and made me very sick afterwards. I thought about going the pescatarian route, but it seemed kind of like cheating. So far, it's been really easy, and I don't feel like I miss meat at all. Eventually I would like to get away from processed foods and start replacing them with a more diverse group of vegetables. But it's a one-step-at-a-time process I suppose.
