Guest guest
Hi Pete, Thanks for letting me know about the Hills Vegetarian Society. I will email them and see about joining. I'd love to get some hints and tips on healthy vegetarian food balancing and low fat recipes. Also I am very interested in B12 since a family member got diagnosed with very low B12 about 6 months ago and had to have the injections. That was quite scary so she now takes the B12 supplements. I still can't understand why that happened though. We were eating the same types of food so maybe everyone has different metabolisms or such with processing B12. I was told it was a very dangerous thing to have low levels of B12 over a period of time (damages the body and can cause other long term problems). Kind regards, Marguerite
Guest guest
Metabolisms vary markedly and even your own metabolism can change suddenly. Also blood type is a factor. >We were eating the same types of > food so maybe everyone has different metabolisms or such with processing > B12.
