Guest guest
I have problems with big fluctations in my blod sugar, and eggs are an almost-magical stabilizer of my blood-sugar. That's the reason I eat them almost every morning. I would love to find another food that works so well to keep me from those huge highs and lows. Good point about attitude and humor! Good point about the conditions the chickens are kept in too. I strongly prefer eggs from chickens that are free-range and organically, vegitarianly fed. Pretty easy to find here in Sacramento, California. Guest guest
Laura-Marie - Have you tried working low-glycemic foods into your diet? I used to have blood sugar swings, but found that by combining grains and legumes or nuts in my meals, it's steady sailing! You have to go whole grain - no refined or stripped grains. So, for breakfast, how might a bowl of steel-cut oats, with walnuts and cinnamon affect you?
