Guest guest
I usually order pasta tossed with olive oil and I take along dried chives to sprinkle on top. I will order a tostada with beans, rice, lettuce, onions, tomato, guacamole and no cheese. I find it's easy eating Chinese food out as they are always willing to make tofu stir fry and there are tons of different ways to fix this dish. I will also order sauteed mushrooms and ask for them on top of a baked potato. I eat salads with vinegar and oil type dressings also. Lots of restaurants don't want the hassle or even potential liability of a customer having an allergic reaction in the restaurant and will accommodate you. You could say " I'm allergic to dairy proteins and can't have any butter on my food. Will this be a problem for the cook? " My husband always asks to make sure the cooks don't use pepper (red or black) in his food and we've never had a problem. Just a thought. Good luck, Janet V
