Guest guest Posted November 28, 2004 Report Share Posted November 28, 2004 Baked Acorn Squash 1 medium or large acorn squash 1/2 cup orange juice 1-2 tablespoon(2) canola oil 1/4 pure maple syrup or karo syrup Preheat over to 375 degrees. Cut squah in slices (they will look like flowers when cut) and remove seeds from the center circles. Place on foil lined cookie sheet (easy to clean up this way). Mix orange juice, syrup and canola oil together. Baste squash with mixture and bake 50 minutes or until tender. Baste about every 10-15 minutes. The afternoon knows what the morning never suspected.
