Guest guest
Well, I dined with my 7th Day Adventist friends Thanksgiving Day. Most are Vegan's, and I don't do " red " meat. The Bible gives the recipe for proper food intake, and this is a key point in Adventist teachings. On the main menu, was Baba Ghanouj, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, vegan gravy, cranberry sauce, Tofu Turkey; and pumpkin pie. This was my first TT, and it was good! Mostly, it seemed like a mound of wild rice, tofu sprinkled about, and a thin outer crust for shaping. There was no recipe per se according to the cook, just a creative hodge podge of healthy ingredients. My mother was a " scratch " cook, and she used to throw stuff together like that, and it all turned out good. My cooking style is similar. All in all, TG was good.
