Guest guest
Hello, Is there anyone on this group from the Chicago area that knows a store that carries " Silk Nog " ? I have tried looking for it at a few natural/health food stores near me but have had no luck. Any help locating a store that sells " Silk Nog " would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Dagmara

Guest guest
Being from Canada, I'm not sure if we can get it here, but do have Silk soy milk products. I was in Vermont, in Stowe (and Burlington) and managed to find it in a Price Choppers. You might try there, if there are some in Chicago. Also Wegmans if there is one around you. I found it with other Egg Nog products, rather than with the Soy Milk which really confused me. I also found some other vegan type products while I was away. I found a dairy free cream cheese. Coming from Montreal, the city where bagels are very important, this is wonderful. I also found Quorn. I had been searching for it since hearing about it on this list, so I'm looking forward to trying them! I have a couple of recipes I will post. One for a tofurkey which my husband made for Canadian Thanksgiving, which was terrific, and also a recipe for Banana Bread. It's vegan, since I too cannot eat dairy. I don't usually post recipes because I'm not the cook. (My husband does most of it) THanks for all the great ideas.
