Guest guest
i love this product. The sugar granules are like little brown balls and have a nice molasses-like flavor. i get it in the bulk bins at Market of Choice, an independantly owned grocery store in my area that carries many health conscious and organic foods. It is a bit expensive to use in baked goods, but i love it in tea or sprinkled on cereals or toast. i use turbinado more in baking; works fine. Here are some sites about sucanat and turbinado: http://www.healthrecipes.com/health_sucanat.htm http://www.sugarindia.com/tur.htm [just read the info in the last link and ignore the sales pitch stuff] ~ pt ~
Guest guest
Cool:) I'll have to try some - I love molasses, and I saw sucanat in the store last night, but shied away from it - it looked a bit like dirt and I wasn't sure if that was right...
