And my call for vegan recipes should in no way be taken to exclude non

vegan veggie cuisine. I was simply bemoaning a long drought of vegan

recipes in a sea of " this in cheese and that in butter " type recipes *is all*.

The reason i addressed your post and complaint was due

to not wanting it to hurt the people's feelings that are

so generous to share recipes with us. When you said

the recent recipes were " all larded out " it sounded

rather negative and like a put down. Recipes that contain

some dairy or eggs are hardly full of lard as in animal fat

that comes from meat.

Besides, as i went thru past digests to put the recipes into

our files i saw that many of the recipes were vegan! Maybe

not the most recent batch, but certainly the vegan to

lacto-ovo ratio is in favor of the vegan receipes.

This last batch was 7 to 1 vegan.

 

 

 

i will continue to look for delicious, easy to prepare,

and economical vegan recipes to try and then to share

with this list. You can do the same and then we will both

be the change we wish to see in a more proactive way.
