Guest guest
i enjoyed reading all the ideas for using up the leftover pumpkin puree in my refrigerator. i don't know if i would ever be able to eat pumpkin warmed with butter like i enjoy butternut squash or acorn squash, but maybe i should give it a try. i did take a recipe for a chocolate chip banana bread recipe and used a cup of the pumpkin in the place of the banana. i added a few other ingredients and it came out wonderful. When it was baking my children thought i was making brownies. i will post it next... Rad, the way you clean the pumpkin seeds off is how i do it. i can't think of any other way, and i guess i will just have to deal with the slime and have fun with it. It is always worth it in the end. ~ pt ~ Mother of our mothers, Foremothers strong.
