Guest guest
This is a real potluck or buffet table pleaser. The red pepper flakes add a nice zip. i have also added some balsamic vinegar before with good results, but it certainly is wonderful as is. Green Bean Sesame Salad 1 pound fresh green beans 2 Tbs. olive oil 1 Tbs. lemon juice 2 Tbs. sesame seeds, toasted 2 garlic cloves, minced 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes 1/8 tsp. pepper In a saucepan, cover beans with water; cook until crisp-tender. Drain and rinse in cold water; place in a serving bowl. Sprinkle with remaining ingredients; toss to coat. Serve at room temperature. Yield: 6 servings ~ pt ~ When is someone able to witness to the souls of others? When she is able to witness her own soul first. When is someone able to correct others? When he can first correct himself. Colm‡n Mac BŽognae, 'Apgitir Cha‡baid [trans. CM]
