Guest guest Posted October 21, 2004 Report Share Posted October 21, 2004 Calcium is absorbed best when taken with a meal and also when taken with vitamin D. That's why most supplements have vit. D included. Also for your migraines; if you get the calcium imbalance fixed, that might help. A lot of people notice that when they get a migraine if they take a calcium chew/supplement the migraine goes away or lessens in severity. Otherwise for migraines you could ask the doctor about the drug Topomax. A lot of people have been having tremendous success with it.
