Guest guest
Hi everyone, My roommate (who's American) saw Supersize Me when he went home, and said that he was probably never having fast food again! He said that the movie was actually kinda like one of those documentaries, where the director experiments on himself with fast food and how unhealthy he gets when that's all he eats for like 3 months! I can't wait to watch it! Hope that heightens the interest for watching the movie a little bit! In peace, darquesal
Guest guest
I've seen it twice. The first time, I was really caught up in it and carried away (I don't eat fast food anyway, but the movie is engaging.) I was only aware of a few instances where information was presented in a manipulative way. The second time I saw it, though, I was less drawn in and more aware of the manipulation. While it IS a documentary (rather than just bieng like one), the director/writer chose to present some information in a really skewed, manipulative way, which was in my opinion inappropriate and dishonest. It really impressed my partner, though, and inspired him to be somewhat healthier in his eating. --- darquesal <darquesal wrote: > Hi everyone, > > My roommate (who's American) saw Supersize Me when > he went home, and > said that he was probably never having fast food > again!
