Guest guest
Here is the lavender cookie recipe. They are truly elegant and yet easy to make and what a fragrance while baking. Enjoy! " Lavender Cookies " Ingredients: 2 eggs 1/2 cup butter 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons dried lavender flowers (I get them from Whole Foods) 1 1/2 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream eggs, butter, sugar and vanilla together. Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a mixing bowl and stir in lavender flowers. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture until well blended. Drop dough a teaspoon at a time onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly browned. Cool on wire rack. Helpful hint: I usually refrigerate dough for 1/2 hour so it's easier to drop on sheets. I was surprised how much kids enjoy this cookie being it's not chocolate nor full of icing(:-))))) Peace, Donna Feral <terebinthus wrote: Yes, that sounds wonderful.
