Guest guest
And hopefuly this time I'll be able to hang around... if anyone even remembers me from my brief stay before. My computer had issues and completely died, what a bummer. Anyway now I have a new one (yay). Shortly after my computer died I got a new job and went away for a while for training but now I'm back and settling into a routine. However I had a serious setback in my conversion process. While I was away and working kinda odd hours it was soooooo easy to just drive through McD's or Wendy's or *insert any other fast food place here* and get a hot meal. Soooooo since it was easy I did it and now I'm back to square one Furthermore I am still working odd hours so dinner at Sonic has become a habit. On the nights I don't go to sonic I get a bag of skittles out of the vending machine in the store (I landed a job as the pet trainer at Petsmart) and while thats not meat it probably isn't any better nutrition wise lol. Anyway I found inspiration yesterday in a customer who brought her pet rats into the store. Since I LOVE rats I of course went to fawn over them and while inquiring what they were fed she mentioned that she fed no animal products b/c she was vegan. That got us off on a conversation on how many " pretend meats " there were out there to make it sooooooo easy to be vegetarian and she encouraged me to put a little effort back into my change. So here I am... again slightly off track but looking to hop back on the wagon so to speak. Maybe this time it will be easier since I was making so much progress in my last attempt. Just have to " get back into it " . ~Leia
