Hardly. *lol* It works quite well in cooking actually.

i use a wonderful brand called Medagliadoro; they

make some of the best preground coffee in a can, and their

powdered instant espresso crystals are good for recipes

like cake icings, adding richness to bean stews,

cookies, and brownies. It dissolves well , better than

using freshly ground coffee beans, as they would leave

a bit of grit behind.

i'd never dream of drinking instant; whole bean Italian

or French roast, freshly ground then brewed each morning

for my coffee cup. :)
