Guest guest
Hi Everyone Below is the answer I received from Strongbow concerning their advertisement. Do any of you have any comments that I could relate to them? Jo Thank you for your email and for sharing with us your personal views onthe Strongbow advertising. The advertisement actually focuses on a character running from thebull. At no time is a bull seen being harmed, nor does the commercialpromote or condone bull fighting. But we fully recognise the right of individuals to express their viewson matters on which they hold strong views. The commercial was approvedfor showing by the independent television authority and forms part of aseries of advertisements. ---Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).Version: 6.0.381 / Virus Database: 214 - Release 02/08/
Guest guest
Maybe we should all complain, apparently, it takes very few complaints for action to be taken Cheers, Viv 07905 175002 " You'll Never Walk Alone with a Basenji " www.veganvillage.co.uk www.veganstore.co.uk Heartwork [Heartwork] Monday, September 02, 2002 4:44 PM Strongbow reply Hi Everyone Below is the answer I received from Strongbow concerning their advertisement. Guest guest
I'm teetotal anyway, but still like to let them know when their adverts are in bad taste. Guest guest
I haven't seen the advert. But at least they *make* vegan alcohol. Which is, IMHO, more important. I mean, considering all the terrible things that companies do to animals, an offensive commercial is pretty low on the list. -- Ian McDonald http://www.mcdonald.me.uk/
