Guest guest Posted January 15, 2004 Report Share Posted January 15, 2004 Cashew Casserole Source: Recipes from the Weimar Kitchen 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped cashews 1 large chopped onion, steamed 1 tsp. paprika 1 cup cooked brown rice 1 cup chopped mushrooms 1 cup dry bread cubes (gf if necessary) 1 tsp. Savorex (or alternative " beefy " seasoning) 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. thyme 3 Tbsp. minced parsley 1 cup milk; soy or nut Steam onions in small amount of water. Dissolve Savorex in small amount of the milk. Combine all ingredients and place in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 6.
