Guest guest Posted January 15, 2004 Report Share Posted January 15, 2004 Garbanzo-Rice Loaf Source: Recipes from the Weimar Kitchen 1 1/2 cups garbanzos, cooked 1 1/2 cups cooked brown rice 3/4 cup water 1/2 cup onion 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 1 Tbsp. soy sauce 1 cup chopped almonds Blend garbanzos with water until smooth. Combine all remaining ingredients, except rice and blend well. Pour into bowl and add rice, mixing well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake for 30 minutes at 325 degrees F. May be baked in casserole for 30 m inutes covered and for another 30 minutes uncovered at 325 degrees F.
