Guest guest Posted January 9, 2004 Report Share Posted January 9, 2004 Pear Ice Cream Source: Country Kitchen Collection 1 cup cashews or blanched almonds 1 cup water or pear juice 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1/3 cup honey (or alternative liquid sweetener) 1 tsp. slippery elm powder, optional 4 cups canned pears Blend all but the pears until creamy. Gradually add canned pears. Pour into flat dish. Cover. Freeze. Cut into strips and put through a Champion Juicer, or blender or food processor.
