good source for organic beans?

Does anyone happen to know a good source for organic dry beans? Either a

store in NYC area or mailorder from somewhere on the east coast? I tried

surfing the internet a bit but most of the mailorder organic food places

seem to be in California and the shipping comes out as much as the beans!

My local stores just have tiny little bags expensive bags and I'd really

like to buy them in bulk. Thanks much.

have you looked in china town?? you might be able to find something there..

it's been a few years since we lived in NYC, but there was a shop in china

town that we'd go to , and find great stuff... of course it was not all

vegan, but it was the cheapest place to find tofu and I know they had some

other things.. it's worth a shot.. plus, maybe you could get a store like

that to carry it, and then it might be cheaper??
