Guest guest Posted November 26, 2003 Report Share Posted November 26, 2003 Alane's Gravy Source: Recipes of Friendship Cookbook 1 cup rolled or quick oats* 1/4 cup cashews, washed 2 Tbsp. yeast flakes 1 1/2 Tbsp. onion powder 1 tsp. salt 4 cups water Blend all ingredients in half the amount of water until smooth. Pour into a saucepan. Rinse blender with remaining water and add to saucepan. Cook over low heat until thick. Stir frequently.
