Guest guest Posted November 21, 2003 Report Share Posted November 21, 2003 Apple Flat Cake Source: Taste and See Cookbook 2 cups rolled oats (or quinoa flakes) 2 Tbsp. oil, optional 1 Tbsp. vanilla 1/4 cup raisins 1 1/2 cups apple juice 1/2 tsp. salt 3 cups shredded apples 1/2 cup sunflower seeds or poppy seeds Mix oats, salt, and oil. Stir in remaining items. Pour into oiled 10 - 15 inch baking pan. Sprinkle top with poppy seeds. Press down lightly and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and cut into squares.
