Welcome to all newbies, and newest newbies (weird writing, that!) Dan and

Sherrie. I've been very bad about this welcoming thing, so all who are recently

arrived here please forgive and understand that it's been a rough few weeks for

me for various reasons but am back on track now. *whew*

 

Okay, Dan you're new to this and may need special kind of help. So have a look

through our recipe Files and also our Links - lots of info there - then if you

have questions, well just ask away! We love to help.

 

Sherrie, good for you for taking the veg pledge - after a year it should be just

about second nature to you to do without animal flesh, right? :) Lots of good

slimming recipes here too. As for your tendency to cheat on the points by using

them us for 'junk' food (sweets and such), well, you'll just have to bite the

bullet on that one, I think. They say that if you're craving things you need to

eat lots and lots and LOTS of greens (fresh leaves and things, pureed into a

'smoothie' if necessary to get enough) and the craving goes away. Works for me,

anyway, so I pass it along *shrug*

 

EVERYONE NEW here: introduce yourselves so we can get to know you - it helps to

know a little about you when we answer queries, ya know :) and besides that we

like to make new friends! And write in often - you'll keep on track much better

that way, or so most people find! Ask any questions you like - we love to give

advice LOL
