Guest guest
I'm not huge but with a BMI hovering on 30 and now with knee and heel pains, along with high blood pressure, my doctor advised me to shed the lard. I'm the fattest vegan she has on her books. I do loads of cycling and hiking - except when my knees and heels hurt too much - and so I'm also the fittest fat person on her books. My problem is will power. Where do you buy that from? Evening snacks are my downfall. Even if really healthy, wholemeal bread and peanut butter sandwiches are unnecessary calories. I could join weightwatchers I suppose but I'm too self conscious and probably one of only a few blokes there. I've tried telling my wife that we need more sex to get my metabolism up but she said that's not a great turn-on idea for her. In the past few years a month or two on a purely raw food diet works a treat for me; plus a vegan multivitamin tablet. The GP said go for that for as long as I want, so I will. I've tried the online weight, activity and diet program FitDay. I find it doesn't often have the foods I want to enter - eg muesli and its a hassle to put in all the ingredients. Does anyone know of another online food / weight / exercise diary program that calculates calories, etc?
