Guest guest
Hi all. I'm Sherrie, 39, married w/2 kids and 2 dogs, and the sole veggie in my home. They family will eat meals that aren't meat-based, but hubby & (step)son will raid the fridge later because they need protein. Gah. I was vegetarian during my pregnancy with my daughter, went back to meat, then went veg again after taking the Toronto Vegetarian Society's veg pledge over a year ago. I was over 250 at my heaviest & wore a 24/26. I'm in an 18/20 now and at 225. I'm following Weight Watchers at home, but have found ways to cheat without cheating. I get the right number of points, but eat like crap. I'm the main cook and love it. I collect cookbooks and love food blogs, so I'm always finding inspiration for good things to eat. I just tend to favor desserts and rich foods over lighter ones. That wasn't always the case. It seems I'm having a harder time getting back to the basics. I think I've covered everything in this intro. :-) I'm going to grab a cup of coffee and get to work. BTW I'm in a distance grad school program and work from home. That has a little to do with my lack of focus when it comes to food lately. I'm a stress eater and the school stress is mega high right now. Sigh, Monday.
