Guest guest
I like this idea of sharing menus that I found from a few days ago... great way to get meal ideas! Breakfast: small carton peach yogurt, topped with 1/2 c. fresh blueberries and 1/4 c. granola. Lunch: 1 bowl Miso-vegetable soup, 1/2 peanut butter sandwich on multigrain toast, 1 small apple, sliced. Snack: few walnuts and 2 dried apricots Dinner: Boca burger on whole wheat bun with jalapeno soya cheese, onions, raw chopped garlic, mustard, relish, and 1 small sweet potato made into oven fries. For oven sweet potato fries, I just rub the sweet potato wedges (peel, and make the wedges about 1/2 inch thick) with a little olive oil and sprinkle on a bit of marjoram or oregano (nice contrast to the sweetness), and bake at 400 degrees about 30 minutes. You can do them with white potatoes too, but sweet potatoes metabolize more slowly and have more nutrients. By this I mean to convey that no facet of Herself is without purpose or benefit. There is no element which She intended to keep hidden. She is selfless. She is eternally giving. In return we must respectfully recognize Her gifts and accept them with the reciprocal attitude of gratitude. -- Mary Summer Rain, _The Singing Web_ ..-=*=-..-=*=-..-=*=-..-=*=-..-=*=-..-=*=-..-=*=-..-=*=-..-=*=-..-=*=-. **************Start the year off right.
