How long? - I became a vegetarian on the 19th of this month. * Are you the only veggie or wannabe in your household? How many others? - My hubby has agreed to be eat vegetarian meals at home since I don't want to cook meat. It's just the two of us. * Do you do the cooking or is it shared? I do it all. WAIT! Anything else you would like to tell us? - The first two weeks I focused on just changing to a vegetarian diet without worrying about calories. Even though I have continued to lose weight it has slowed down so now I need to start re-focusing on my daily calories and finding recipes that are low in fat and calories. For the past 5 years I have thought about becoming a vegetarian but the fact is I hate most veggies so I figured it wouldn't work. After reading a book recently about the treatment of animals I couldn't continue to eat meat. So liking veggies or not, I decided to make the jump. I read every book I could find for a month and then cleaned out the house and started my new life. I took meat out of my diet and now the next step is to start cutting out any products I am used to buying that have meat products in them. It has been very exciting so far and I am finding myself to be more adventurous then I ever thought I could be. Veggies still aren't delicious but most of them are now in the edible to good range. :-) That's my story.       Tami Your life is an occasion.
