Hi Yen and welcome!

You've definitely found the right group to start you off on a healthy vegetarian

diet. You'll want to stay away from a lot of processed foods and go for a

variety of fresh fruits & veggies, beans, nuts (in moderation as they can be

high calorie/fat) & lots of grains. We have a lot of great recipes and ideas in

our files and our members are more than willing to help you find healthy

alternatives. Do your in-laws support your decision to eat vegetarian and will

they keep that in mind since they do the cooking as you say?

Again, welcome and congrats on making this decision!

To get you started, why not tell us:

* your name or nickname

My name is Yen

I live at Singapore

* your age group - teens, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s,

70s, 80s or more (congratulations!)?

I'm 27 years old ...

Also:

* Are you vegetarian (or vegan), still working at

it, or still thinking about it? How long?

I'm still working to become a vegetarian, i'm a food lover actually. so i'll

just eat anything at anytime ..... u know i live to eat not eat to live ...

* Are you the only veggie or wannabe in your

household? How many others?

Big Chance!!!

I would like to eat healthy, as i heard from other vegetarian's advice is
